Matt Denney (he/him) is a mixed-race Filipino-American Intimacy Director, Educator, Facilitator and Solo-Artist. He received his BA in Secondary Education in Theatre/English and a M.S.Ed in Higher Education studying the Asian American Narrative and its relation to identity-based storytelling. While in Graduate School, he also taught Drama Integration in the Elementary Classroom and Diversity in Higher Education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Matt was also previously the Co-Theatre Teacher and Co-Director at the Performing Arts Center at Damonte Ranch High School in Reno, NV.

He currently is a Teaching Artist for Intimacy Directors and Coordinators and leads the Theatre and Improvisation Classes at Aparisi Arts in Tucson, Arizona while studying his PhD in Higher Education at the University of Arizona.
