I am a co-founder and current Executive Director of the Center for Immigrant Resources & Community Arts (CIRCA) - Pintig. CIRCA-Pintig is a Chicago-based community theater that started with street performances as part of the anti-intervention & anti-dictatorship movements in the 1980's and formally incorporated as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 1991. CIRCA-Pintig believes in the power of theater for engaging community members in movements for social transformation through collective reflection, storytelling, and action.
