Bri Ng Schwartz

I am a Brooklyn based curator of community engaged programming, facilitator, writer and an occasional dramaturg based in Brooklyn. I currently serve as the Manager of Donor & Community Relations at JACK.

My work centers the inclusion & liberation of queer communities of color with accessibility at the forefront. I am a former Chicago transplant and has held positions at Free Street TheaterVictory Gardens Theater & StoryCorps Chicago. My independent creative work in Chicago included academic study & performance exploration of sex positivity as well as advocacy for sex worker rights.

In New York, I have served as the Research & Advocacy Coordinator at Dance/NYC, Outreach Associate at Pan Asian Rep & Community Programs Coordinator for National Queer Theater's Criminal Queerness Festival 2020. I have facilitated dialogues on intergenerational queer theater practice with Theatre Communications Group and New York Theatre Workshop and has written for publications including American Theatre MagazineThe HowlRound Commons & Mixed Asian Media
