Conrad A. Panganiban

Conrad A. Panganiban is San Francisco Bay Area Playwright. His work has been performed by Bindlestiff Studio (San Francisco, CA), San Francisco Playhouse, San Francisco State University, A-Squared Theatre Workshop (Chicago, IL), CIRCA Pintig (Chicago, IL), Kearny Street Workshop (San Francisco, CA), Sinag-tala Filipino Theater and Performing Arts Association (Sacramento, CA), 06 Ensemble (San Jose, CA), MAARTE Theatre Collective (San Diego, CA) and the UnityCLAP Theater Group (Davis, CA). His plays has been performed at various Northern California colleges and universities, in Leith, Edinburgh, Scotland and the Philippines with the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA)! Conrad’s awards include: THE PERFECT AMERICAN – Official Selection for SF Playhouse’s Words Rising: A Celebration of Emerging Playwrights’ Monthly Reading Series. INAY’S WEDDING DRESS – Winner: 2014 James Milton Highsmith Drama Scholarship Award; THE BARBARY CAPER – First Place: Playwrights CageMatch Script Competition (Douglas Morrison Theatre); and PRINSESA – Audience Award for Best Screenplay (Scary Cow Film Festival). His full-length play, WELGA, had its World Premiere Production at San Francisco's Bindlestiff Studio. He is a Resident Artist of Bindlestiff Studio as well as a member of Theatre Bay Area and the Dramatists Guild of America. Conrad earned his MFA in Creative Writing with an emphasis in Playwriting from San Francisco State University.
