Hello, I'm Jamil Khoury, Founding Artistic Director of Chicago's Silk Road Rising. We're a non-profit theatre and media arts company that tells stories through primarily Asian American and Middle Eastern American lenses. In addition to producing theatre, I'm also a playwright, essayist, and filmmaker, with a focus on representation, Middle Eastern Diaspora communities, and cultural interchange.
