Katelyn Trieu

As a second-generation Chinese/Vietnamese Canadian born to refugee parents, Katelyn is passionate about telling stories for social justice. She is drawn to pieces that challenge the status quo, specifically by creating dialogue that helps facilitate change around subjects that are seen as “touchy”, neglected, or forgotten. With the prevalence of misrepresentation and underrepresentation in the industry, there is an opportunity to address the issues faced by those who are often typecast or conventionalized. Everyone has a story worth telling and worthy of being heard.
Katelyn is currently pursuing an MFA in Acting at the University of Connecticut (2023).
