Consent has emerged as a central, foundational consideration in production processes where it had previously been overlooked, and people are thinking critically about how they approach intimacy in the rehearsal room.

Theatrical Intimacy Education’s Best Practices workshop will empower theatre practitioners with tools to ethically, efficiently, and effectively stage intimacy, nudity, and sexual violence. The training will provide guidance on creating a culture of consent that ensures that theatre artists are free to do what they do best: tell powerful stories.
