Nikki Meñez

Nikki Meñez is a director, choreographer, and performer currently based in San Francisco, California. Born and bred in the Bay Area, she is a graduate of the University of California in Santa Cruz where she received degrees in Environmental Studies and Theater Arts.

Nikki works at New Conservatory Theatre Center as Program Director for YouthAware Educational Theatre and as Casting Associate. She wears various creative hats at Custom Made Theater Company, Faultline Theatre, and PianoFight. Directing credits include "Let's Kill Jessica" by Claire Rice (Awesome Theater), "The Gay Divorce Play" by Carson Becker & Nicole Jost (Queer Cat Productions), "In the Heights" by Quiara Alegría Hudes & Lin-Manuel Miranda (Custom Made), & "How To Be a White Man" by Luna Malbroux & Jennifer Lewis (FaultLine).

On the occasion that Nikki isn't wrapped up in theater projects, she engages with the community organizers in the Bay Area through Gabriela USA, an alliance for and by the liberation of Filipino womxn and in international solidarity with economic and political movements, of which she is a member.
