La Luna Productions is dedicated to creating theater by women featuring strong female protagonists, viewed though a unique artistic lens: fusing classical Japanese performance techniques (primarily Kabuki) with Western theater.

I Iived in Japan. MFA in Directing Asian Theatre from University of Hawaii (primary focus on Japan and China). Kabuki Training from National Living Treasure Nakamura Matagoro.
Television career (EMMY award), worked with most NYC daytime and primetime network shows. Produced and directed playwright Carol Sorgenfrei's GHOST LIGHT: THE HAUNTING and Kati Kuroda's one woman shows: SAKURA and HANA- THE BANDIT PRINCESS by Kikue Tashiro.
