Shyama Iyer is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and is currently attending the Yale School of Drama. She is an Indian classical dancer and musician and uses her experience in ancient traditions to create new theatrical work. Some of her explorations include The Bhava Cycle, Shringara: A Music Theatre retelling of love, and The First Breath.
