CAATA Secretary Roger Tang and CAATA member Kathy Hsieh spoke to the Northwest Asian Weekly about the Moving Image Preservation of Puget Sound (MIPoPS), who are digitizing recordings from the Northwest Asian American Theatre (NWAAT) from the 1980s and 90s.

Hsieh was Managing Director for much of the time that is being revived from VHS archives, while Tang was a member of the Board of Directors for NWAAT and director of development there.

Of particular instance is that there may be recordings of some of the predecessor convenings to CAATA’s Con/Fest (in particular, the 1999 Seattle convening of Asian American theatres).
